I must say that October 2011 was a surprising long list of deadpool providers. You can read more about the deadpool list of providers and their comments here – http://www.lowendbox.com/blog/dead-pool-october-2011/
On the other note, some users thought that we are in the deadpool too. Well the fact is that we had alot of projects and onsite support / adhocs to deal with. As i mentioned before that Cripperz Prodigy vps service is secondary service. We are just offering the balance resource as low end and cheap boxes. Sharing is caring. While being secondary service, we always try to make ourselves available.
I also saw comments by our users at http://www.lowendstock.com/cripperz and i am pretty please with it. Thank you for the feedback and review and rest assure we will keep improving our services.
Well the LowEndBox dead pool for June 2011 is out. I also notice that they are hoping to see more Singapore / Malaysian providers providing Singapore / Malaysian vps service. I wonder how much are you guys willing to pay for a basic VPS in Singapore / Malaysia. To be honest under USD7/mth for Singapore or Malaysian VPS is a tough budget but definitely i have been scouting datacenters in these regions to offer good pricings. If ever i manage to get one, i will definitely launch the service ! =P
Well the winners of Q2 2011 Best VPS Providers is out in LowEndBox (LEB). Congrats to the winners. Definitely you guys are setting the standards in VPS services. Something that i will be paying attention to as well. Must say LowEndBox have an awesome open community there and i hope that will continue.
I must mention though, a recent mention about new providers being BuyVMissh in LowEndTalk (LET) did attract some of my attention. I would like to see what are the respond like in that thread.
There was a recent hype at LowEndBox about Hostrail.com closure. Well definitely as a vps provider myself, i do feel for both Hostrail staff and its customers. The frustrations of many not being able to get their data and 33 nodes down at one go, that is a really big blow!
As i mentioned, i was a vps user before, hosting some of my test site and dry run application on these vpses. Losing those work could really give me one hell of a time.
I would like to extend some of my services here to Hostrail customers. I know they are getting quite a good deal out of Hostrail plans. But i doubt that not any serious providers would to plunge into offering those plans even for myself. However, our introduction package offer of USD10/year might just be the thing for most of them who would like to check us out.
I would like to emphasize that VPS service is not our core business. We are a freelance based group offering web design services and onsite computer services here in Singapore. The VPS plans and service that you see here is only available when the resource is available. The existing servers that we have are basically being used for our core business and we are just sharing the unused resources to vps users who are seeking for good price, reasonable resource, un-managed and stability. When these servers runs out of resources, we would less likely restock servers just for the sake of VPS service. We would only restock when i core business requires the extra servers to run. This i hope gives some of the visitors some assurance that we are not fly by the night hosting companies that is currently seem like a trend in the VPS industry.
For Hostrail CEO, all the best in your future perusals, do not let this one failure down. Let it be a learning lesson and improve on your next venture if you have the plans to. Hope the problems resolves for you one day. It is a learning lesson for myself to be honest and i am constantly looking for ways to improve. My condolences to Hostrail and its customers. Hope for a speedy recovery for their community members / customers.
Now having spend the past 30mins reading and browsing about Bitcoins, seeing the growing list of providers going into Bitcoins, i am thinking of providing VPN services which will allow Bitcoin as payment modes. This will be an interesting trial and to see how it helps me in maintaining my cost using a different currency in time to come for sure.
Below is the official youtube video introduction of Bitcoin
Firsly, let me welcome you to Cripperz Prodigy (CP) cheap vps page. We will post all vps related offers here from time to time. I might also consider posting some of the other competitor package here. There will be a random rants here and there as well. Well, CP Cheap VPS is intended to serve un-managed, real low cost and no gimmick VPS. We will have additional servers from time to time to serve our core business – Singapore web design customers, additional resources will be shared out as cheap vps users. So do grab the available slots while it still last as additional servers might not come soon after the stock runs out!
I will also post up some typical tutorials on how and what you can do with your VPSes. I cannot deny, i am a true Ubuntu lover. Having said that, my future quick tutorials will be base on solely Ubuntu. So stay tune aite.
P/S: I do hope my tech friends will be recommending our VPS services out to their contacts. I really hope that this resource sharing / cost sharing mindset works out at CP. I am determined to keep everyone happy even though in real life fact you cant really achieve that =P ~ peace out!
